Moose on the Loose (AAQI)

Designed and quilted by Marlene Brown Woodfield.

12″ wide by 9″ high. Original design, 2011.

Materials/techniques: Fussy cut cotton fabrics to resemble an autumn woods. Fabrico markers, Seta color paint, machine quilted, signed, piped and traditionally bound.

Artist’s statement: Often times I make a priority quilt in honor or memory of someone that did not have Alzheimer’s. In this case, the quilt is in memory of a friend’s father who was very active in the Moose Lodge.

Dedicated: In memory of George Stavropoulos, the past president of the State of Indiana Moose Association.
