Marlene may be best known for her multifabric facial imagery, capturing those she loved on her quilts with great skill and love. Her technique was featured in two books by Charlotte Warr Andersen, Faces & Places, Images in Applique’ (1995) and Focus on Features, Life-Like Portrayals in Applique’ (1998).
