This framed mixed media collage is a whimsical view of life under the sea featuring, fish, plants, and other creatures. Marlene used a variety of buttons, charms, and jewelry pieces set against a backgroud of fabrics and threads to create this glittery and engaging piece. She had some of the buttons and charms, and she collected others from her network of quilters and artist friends. It invites the viewer to play “I Spy” to identify all of the elements in the design.
