Designed and quilted by Marlene Brown Woodfield.
8-1/2″ wide by 10-3/4″ high. Original design, 2010.
Materials/techniques: Whole cloth sun painted PFD cotton fabric, cotton and rayon threads, enhanced with Fabrico markers, heavily machine quilted, piped, signed, convetional binding and fast finish triangles.
Artist’s statement: When trying some new techniques, I produced this pretty piece of fabric. The colors reminded me of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, thus the name!
Dedicated: To the persons who patiently take care of Alzheimer’s patients.
Raised for AAQI: $155. March 2011 auction.
Purchased by Kathy Greene of San Diego, CA, the second quilt by Marlene that she purchased.
