Artist’s statement: Spring abounds and papa Baltimore Oriole is taking care of his little ones who really appear hungry. Mama is out in the field hunting caterpillarsfor them to eat. Both the male and female Orioles care for the young, sharing in hunting food and caring for the young.

Dedicated: In honor of Jack Stark, outstanding, engaged father and mentor to not only his two children, but hundreds of other children through his position as a football aand basketball coach and principal of a junior high school.
