Note from Alice: “I am writing to let you know that I had the winning bid for your “Out to Lunch” quilt. I received it today, and it is spectacular! I really wanted your “Peanut Butter and Jelly” quilt as well but got out bid! Your work is truly imaginative and stunning. When I start making quilts for Ami’s charity, I can only hope to measure up to the standard you set.”
