Materials/techniques: Silk dupioni, cotton fabrics including Michael Miller’s “Fairy Frost”, Fabrico pens, machine applique’ and quilted, beaded, cotton/soy batting, signed, piped, conventional binding.
Artist’s statement: This is the lily of the day since day lilies only bloom for one day.
Dedicated: I dedicate this quilt to the Alzheimer’s caregivers who give so much of their time to those they love that have this terrible disease.
