Materials/techniques: Batik and commercial cotton fabrics, fused, thread painted bow, both cotton and Sulky rayon threads, beaded, signed, piped and conventionally bound.

Artist’s statement: Every year some birds think our front door wreath was made for a deluxe apartment for them to set up housekeeping! What to do? Do you catch them in the act and remove the wreath, or do you use the back door for the next month or so?
