Materials/techniques: Cotton fabric, silk painted butterfly, beaded flowers, lavender background fabric hand dyed by Joann Deck, fusing, machine appliqued and quilted, signed, piped and traditionally bound.

Artist’s statement: The silky Monarch butterfly enjoys visiting her favorite plant, the Butterfly Bush.
