Materials/techniques: Cotton fabrics, handpainted sky, machine embroidery vines and grasses, twin needle stitching, fused, Tsukineko inks, machine quilted, signed, piped and conventional binding.
Artist’s statement: This is the 4th in a series of Nostalgia quilts. It portrays an imaginary scene of a rural Indiana covered bridge in the autumn of the year. The water was rippling under the bridge, and it is a tranquil scene.
Dedicated: In memory of Herb Senasac who died from this terrible disease.
