Materials/techniques: Sun painted and commercial cotton fabric, ground is varicolored yarns and beads, machine quilted, signed, piped inner oval and traditionally bound.

Artist’s statement: Part of the joy of Summer sunshine is sun painting in my garden.

Dedicated: In memory of Jjane Kimiko Izumi, my friend Crystal Domke’s mother. Crystal is making a donation to AAQI so that she gets the quilt since she was too late in buying the other quilt, Spring Snow, which was dedicated to her mother.
