“Your quilt now lives in San Diego, Calif. I look forward to much enjoyment from this quilt.

I discovered the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt auction by exploring Ami Simm’s website. I don’t know anyone with Alzheimer’s. My maternal grandmother lived to 100, and in her last years, there was diminished mental capacity, most likely due to mini-strokes. It wasn’t obvious if you didn’t know her well. My mother recently expressed concern about my father. Just a small number of incidents that have caught her attention. She said she planned to call and talk with my father’s doctor the next time my father had an appointment. Alzheimer’s was my first fear.

This is the 7th quilt I have purchased through Ami’s auction.”
