Gift to Rob Smith (nephew).

The image of the luna moth had special meaning for Rob and Marlene. When he was growing up in Indiana, Rob participated in 4-H (as Marlene had also done), entering projects in a variety of categories including entomology. Marlene has special memories of accompanying Rob on his efforts to catch butterflies and moths!

This was an early quilt, but Marlene returned to images of the luna moth as well as butterflies on numerous occasions over her quilting career.
