Materials/techniques: Cotton fabrics, hand appliue’, couched yarn, fused ladybug, machine quilted, signed, enveloped on three sides, top traditionally bound.

Artist’s statement: The gulls are floating free as is the oak leaf and the ladybug is catching a free ride!

Dedicated: To the caregivers, may they have time to float free from the disease which they see on a daily basis.
