Materials/techniques: Sun painted Bald Cypress branch on cotton fabric, rough edge applique’ owl, hand and machine appliqued, embellished with Setacolor paint. It is machine quilted, signed, piped and traditionally bound.

Artist’s statement: This Long-eared Owl is sitting on a fence post surveying his surroundings.

Dedicated: To my husband, Ted, as he keeps track of things so I can have more time to quilt!
