Materials/techniques: Hand dyed cotton fabric, Melody Johnson hand dyed Charmeuse silk fabric, Ultrasuede, and polyester fabrics were also used, hand and machine appliqued, embellished with Setacolor pearl paint and paint sticks. It is machine quilted, signed, and traditionally bound.
Artist’s statement: The glow of a burning candle adds to the ambiance of Christmas Eve making everything reflect its light.
Dedicated: To those who have forgotten the meaning of Christmas.
